Delacroix impresses with his wonderful bloodlines of top stallions and testing winners. His sire, Don Frederico, the elegant and impressive 17.1 hand black Donnerhall son became Champion of the 1999 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing. This "eye-catcher" completed his stallion performance test as runner-up with the amazing score of 151.67 points in the dressage section. He also constantly improved his qualities during test. He possesses excellent mental qualities. Don Frederico convinces by his excellent rideability and his very good basic gaits, which will impress all dressage riders. In 2005, Don Frederico was rated by the German Equestrian Federation as the second most valuable sport horse breeding stallion, based on his Breeding Value Index of 174 points, with an assurance of 89% heritability. He is a member of the Celle black horse dressage quadrille. His offspring are also demonstrating dressage excellence. In 2005 two of his offspring; one mare, one gelding, were Champion and Reserve Champion at the Bundeschampionat and most recently for the Fall 2007 Hanoveraner auction the top priced horse sold for 45,000 euros was the lovely horse "Dein Wunschtraum" by Don Frederico/Don Primero.

Delacroix's dam, SPS Mijou, is a States Premium Matcho daughter and her dam is a States Premium Argentan mare, and her grandmother a States Premium Woermann mare. This mare family has been very successful at major mare shows, and the Argentan mother was European Champion and the grandmother produced an International Dressage horse!! This mare is an overall "8" with all scores in the 8-9 range, with two "9's" for rideability. Delacroix's dam was sired by Matcho x, the "noble black" Anglo-Arab with the "magnificent presence". "As a stallion who improves the breed Matcho is one of the rare stallions who improves type and presence...". Matcho was the Stallion Performance Test Champion at his testing. Known for producing refinement and high rideability in offspring. Sire of over 30 approved stallions, 7 of which are owned by the Hanoverian State Stud in Celle, Germany. Delacroix's granddam was sired by Argentan, was "1994 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year" producing 100 state's premium mares, 19 approved sons, and 500 of his offspring have competed successfully in both dressage and jumping guaranteeing Argentan a spot in the Club of Millionaires.

At Delacroix's inspection he was named a "wonderful stallion candidate" and in the AHS quarterly magazine, they called Delacroix "The Full Package" (see the article in the AHS 2003 Fall magazine under River House Hanoverians site). Delacroix presently stands 16.1 hands and is a refined type, black stallion with no markings, and 3 good gaits. He shows a lot of talent for Jumping and Dressage.

Delacroix has completed the 30 Day Stalliion Test at SilverCreek Sporthorses!!! Delacroix received a remarkable 8.75 for Interior, 6.50 for an average walk, 7.75 for an excellent Trot, an 8.00 for his super Canter, a 7.63 for Rideability, and a 7.19 for Jumping! New photos on the way!
